Bringing Communities Together to Protect Society from Space Weather

18-24 September 2027

Cardiff, Wales

Celebrating its fifth edition, the UK Space Weather & Space Environment Meeting is an established conference series dedicated to advancing research, forecasting and preparedness across the space weather community. The meeting brings together scientists, engineers, operational forecasters, industry representatives, end-users and policy makers to foster collaboration and address the challenges posed by the space environment.

In 2027, the conference will join forces with COSPAR and the Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS), further broadening its scope and strengthening its role as a forum for international collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Although firmly rooted in the UK, the conference is international in outlook and welcomes participation from around the world. By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, it supports the development of innovative solutions and a more coordinated global approach to understanding and mitigating the impacts of space weather on society, critical infrastructure and space-based systems.
